Hi Everyone & Newbies,

Cant tell you anything about Hot flushes.....never had them....does that make me unique ? LOL

I only get cold flushes its why I need my electric blanket so much..!
My sister said when the time comes ....she will bury me with my electric blanket,... oh goody goody....!

My daughter in law comes from Cromer and on boxing day we all went to see people go for a swim all dressed of in fancy dress.
It was freezing but had fun watching them.
Back to my pelmet making.....

Hi Ladies.Got OH's pooter now ,and won't see mine for maybe a week.
I have been bad with the flushes today it is when my face feels as thought it is on fire it makes me feel most peculiar.Had to have a little lie down when I got home lol
I am off to the cinema shortly so will pop in later.
If Diane is looking in yes I am the Helen from siblings thread.But I am called Jane really.Most peeps are now kindly calling me Jane,but I will still answer to both LOL.

Marilyn - welcome to the club, I suffer mainly from cold flushes, I get hot feet in bed at night sometimes. But I am constantly cold, I am at the present time, sat by the front window where the sun is shining through and I am wearing my fleece jacket! OH is sat with shorts, open shirt, no socks and the french window partly open!

LOL, just read a few back posts, Jane you do make me laugh, me doing a bit of drama on Chat. It was quite a laugh and had to think about how to put it down in writing.

So sorry to hear about your dreadful experience with your NFH, AB. Think Lorraine is right she seems to need help of some kind...not fair on you or your hubby though. Why can't people just be okay and we all live together peacefully...I guess we all want to know the answer to that one. There will always be ars*holes in life who spoil it for others. Hope you are feeling better than you were AB. xxx

Hi all, just popping in and then off to bed.Just been to the pictures to see Angels and Demons which was brilliant and then had a meal.So I am feeling full and tired now.
Have had this awful burning face for most of the day.My reading glasses keep steaming up lol.It is driving me nuts and it makes me irritable so I am best off in bed out of everyones way !!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so glad I don't have a neighbour like yours AB.In fact I rarely see mine.

argggggggh im so fed up now with being hot and sweaty all the time

wake up in the night shivering cos my pj top is wet from being so bleeping hot, and then in work its so hot, yet you get the youngsters saying they cold,

Well I'm back again and just thought I'd wish you all a goodnight as I'm calling it a night too. hope i sleep okay and am not so achey. Got my ibuprofen today and have taken a couple so my joints are feeling better now...bloody menopause!

Fiona, i'll have to give the ibuprofen gell a try, thanks for the tip. ☺

Where is everyone?

I dont know, I unexpectedly get dragged away from my cosy laptop and sitting room to go out with work colleagues - quite unexpected and come back on here to see a really quiet board - even on Chat!

Morning Ladies,
Woke this morning with very stiff fingers and they feel like a bunch of sausages lol.Have taken my wedding ring off,just in case it gets stuck.
It was beautiful sun until a moment ago and now there are loads of clouds.
Have a ton of washing to get done so Id better get a move on.

Morning all
I Can't make up my mind to just put on my fleece this morning or a rain coat,I walk in to town so even thought the suns out the wind is still chilly, but those shops are so hot and you end up having to take your coat of and carrying it.
I have been throwing out some old long skirts & dresses (put them in the charity bag that has come through the door) they still fit round the waist but I look like a long drip. I'm going to see if I can get a couple of knee lenth skirts a more flattering lenth for little me, LOL wish me luck

I have always fancied one of these Murder Mystery things,but I know for sure that OH would flatly refuse to go to one.He is just too quiet for something like that.I feel quite sorry for your poor OH Lorraine lol.Did you say if you have a part to play?
AB I think your GP could possibly do a letter for you saying that the behaviour of your NFH is causing you health problems.It is always worth asking .

I am glad I find you all well, I myself have been freezing all day and have not taken my fleece off, I hope to warm up in bed later on - that is I hope my feet will warm up later on on bed therefore making me warmer lol

Tina ,that was just my mucky mind LOL
I have been sleeveless all day,it has been quite warm(could just be me).Ilove no sleeves but don't like the flabby top arms!!!!!!!!!.Must start lifting weights I think.lol

We have air flow in our office and its bloody freezing. I did not know it had been a hot day until I left work this evening. I never bare my arms in public - not a pretty site bat wings lol.
