Arvo Wattlers. Boy the weather don't sound too good Tony. We had a huge hailstorm in Mudgee about 18 months ago and now everyone has new roofs. Something like 1800 cars were totalled. It was BIG. That's nice of you Trifely to let Tony back on the barge. He needs a bit of de-stressing. Have just been up to have a snuggle of Miss Ruby Elizabeth. She is verrry cute. Mum is going well, although a bit tired. Off to Dubbo again tomorrow to look for a rug and maybe to do a little retail therapy. Have a nice afternoon. Lew Lew xxx

Afternoon Wattlers, A friend emailed me this morning to give me the news so I spent the rest of the morning on Ancestry. It's wonderful now that I have Broadband. The bad news is that I have cancelled my sub to Ancestry, so I have just 5 days left. Guess what I will be doing this week end. I am also guessing that I will end up signing up again. Lara will e-mail you, joodles will send my email to you. Laurie, I got an email today about hair, but I think that the attachement may have been missing. Very curious can you send again please. It is very warm here again, just when it's starting to cool down. At least it is cooler at night for sleeping. Rebs, will you be getting the novel published. LOL I haven't hand written a letter for ages, had carpel tunnel a when I was working and it comes back if i try to write. That's my excuse any way. Laurie and Joodles hope that yop had a nice lunch and chat. I have remembered that today is Friday, not like last week. Lew, have you got a big calender on the wall where you mark off all the days, you know, like prisoners do LOL. Tony, how much work in the garden do you think you will let daughter do. They have a funny way of not doing it how you like it. Well, back to Ancestry. If you don't hear from me this week end you will know where i am Love SuzyQ

ooohhh............... there goes my weekend, Laurie thanks for the info 1841 here I come !! 'MiracleJoodle' I luv U !!, Joodles has found me a whole veggie patch of rellies AND a contact who has done some real 'professional' research on my Nanna's side of the family, I am so delighted. I have also now found the burial places of two of the three brothers who emigrated in the 1850's. We have Australian Idol here this weekend, there's a concert in the park a block away from here at the moment (for local talent) - the building is shaking, the sound is so loud!! Oh dear Tony, re mobile phones - it will all settle down in time, my Darl Dau 14 gets a $30 charge from me each month, our phone bill has gone down by at least that much so fair enough, and she doesn't ever ask for more, or gets it herself. One or two of her friends had your issues!! Does anyone use SKYPE - my brothers do and they swear by it, Tony you should look into it for yourself, it's phoning through your computer. Can't stay to chat tho' would love to, have a good weekend everyone Heather in Albury

Hi Wattlers Well after yesterday, a day of rain, rain and more rain, running around trying to get groceries and pay bill etc. Today is the complete opposite. Cool but sunny, so I managed to catch up with all the washing we bought home from our trip. Tony sounds like you have got our yuckky weather today. We also had probs with the son ringing friends late at night while we was asleep. Most of the calles went to message bank so it didnt cost us much, but as soon as we realised what he was doing, whe we received the bill, we first confronted him, his reply was I dont know how they (the calls) got on the bill, yeh right. so we rang telstra and got call control put on for mobile and std calls, we already had 1902 calls barred from our phone, just incase. So now we have it activated all the time and only turn it off if David needs to make a std call to relations on mainland. Happy hunting to all that are looking in Ancestry. Might have a quiet night tonight with a couple of bourbons and watch the Footy, what you doing Rebs???? Cheers Sue

Dev, quiet night in front of the telly? Watching footy??? The rest of the house bolt for cover if I'm allowed to watch the games. They insist the three blind mice can't hear me abusing them for their bad calls. I don't care, it feels good to yell at something and not get yelled back at. lol!!! Hopefully Matty Lappin will be playing tonight. We're already a bit underdone with Fevola and Waite both out. Setanta Oh'Ailpin get another run though, so things should be interesting. Better make sure the guinness is chilling ready for tonight.

Rebs Sounds like we are 2 of a kind. Last year David and myself was in the lounge watching austar, and I kept on ducking out to the kitchen to see how the footy was going on the other tv. One trip to check the scores etc, something had happened, a poor umpiring decision, I think, so I was voicing my opinion, then David came running out of the lounge to see what was going on, he thought someone had broken in or somethiing. When I told him what I was yelling at he replied but 'they cant hear you'. My reply was I know but it makes me feel better, and there is no harm in trying :-0 Cheers Sue

Drat Devley, I just looked at the viewing guide. Damn game isn't on here until 11pm. Rugby league takes priority on a Friday night........unless it's the Lions playing of course. :-PPPPPPP Big raspberries for channel nine. My theory is football games were made to be screamed at, whether you are there in the middle of everything (doesn't that bring back memories) or watching it on a screen somewhere.

Rebs That is a bugger :-( Dont suppose you want me to update you with the scores :-0 I gather you dont have Austar as it is on there at 8.30. Otherwise there is always the radio. Cheers Sue

Even' all The bloody weather in Qld. is sure changeable. It was quite warm and the humidity was high today and then lo & behold....along came one grandaddy of a storm. Wind, thunder, lightning, rain, hail......we got the lot. No damage to us, just a lot of leaves and a few twigs off the trees. We have 2 'Baby Ben' ficus in tubs which fell over but everything else is ok. This means I don't have to water this weekend....yippeee! How are the rest of our Qld. peeps? Are you all ok? Our lucky must be good this week. We had a slab laid yesterday afternoon for a small garden shed.........lucky it wasn't today! Graeme and Mark have Tuesday off so I've booked them to put up the shed. I've told them if they don't do it....I will! That'll make 'em move. Can't have a woman put up a man's garden shed.......horror! I'll be glad when it's finished as the 2 large boxes it comes in have been sitting in the garrage for 6 weeks and I'm getting SICK of crawling around them to get in the car. I'm off now to do the dreaded ironing so I'll ~~~~~~~ wave and send you all big hugs. Have a great weekend. love Trifley (sets up ironing board in front of TV....watching Dalziel & Pascoe)

Trifley, you've had rain? We got some cloud coverage this afternoon, but that's it. I walked outside today to the clothesline and noticed most of my seaside daisies in the hanging baskets have carked it. They are usually so hardy, but this summer hasn't been kind to them. C'arn the Blues!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sue ( Tassie ) I dont really support the Hawk's...lol but......Well Il'e tell ya funny story. I took my eldest girl ( Teena ) to her first footy match. It was at Waverley, and bought her a Collingwood scarf n'all. She was 15 or 16 ( cant remember ) years old. Collingwood V's Hawthorn We sat behind the Collingwood Cheer squad ( as all Magpie supporters do )....:>)) Dermi ( Dermot Brereton )was playing for the Hawks......and was about to kick a goal......and us Magpies were shouting BOOOOooooooo...Hiiiisssssss.....well most of us were...except my Teena( wearing a Collingwood scarf )....who was shouting ' I LOVE YOU DERMIE' O'h isnt he georgous dad....LOVE YOU DERMIE. xxx So to save myself from being killed by a raging Collingwood cheer sqaud...i quickly removed moi and daughter ( now gagged ) from this area....Sheeeeeezzzz...lol She went on to marry a very one-eyed Hawks supporter ( my now son-in-law ) and 2nd cousin of Kelvin Templeton. So kinda...sorta...nearly..have a very tiny teetsie minor like for the Hawks....LOL GO BLUE BAGGERS....lol Tony Oz...:>))

Shazz, no sense out of them. My saved surname URL was not working so I started from scratch. Googled Aust Surname List and chose second one. Went to home page and scrolled down to bottom for pictures. Chose pictures and the house photos were first. I'll go and check they are still there. back in a mo. Shazz, THEY AREN'T THERE. All gone.
