lol Susan, don't even have any Baileys in the house let alone champers, don't own a foot spa, no mud either, we're in the middle of a drought remember!! Unfortunately I do have a pile of laundry that seems to have grown every time I walk past it. formal attire with our boas and tiaras??? My dress up stuff was unwittingly recycled to other recipients, but I could come up with a fairy tu-tu. :-)))

OMG!!! I have spent the last 10 min literally rolling on the floor laughing. I have a stitch, and tears are running down my face. My daughter just called to be picked up from the station. The girl had a football game on the other side of town today, and arranged for one of the other girls to pick her up in the passenger zone outside the casino in town. Anyway, K got there a bit early a sat on the ground waiting for Jen to arrive. She had her jacket on the ground in front of her, and some guy walking past threw a stash of coins on the jacket thinking she was a homeless person. If she didn't have to play, she could have stayed and made a small fortune. Next week she'll have to go earlier and catch the high rollers as they leave in the morning. pmsl!!!!

Hey hey hey girls! Just back from Classic Meet and you've guessed it - it rained! Hasn't rained since the bears were bad and it had to bucket down on all the beautiful classic cars and planes. However, up until the time it started raining they'd taken $10,000 at the gate which is the best yet over the 8 years it has been going. Great for the Leukaemia Foundation and Blue Nurses - and that was just the gate takings. They have proceeds from food, joy flights etc to go on top of that so it was a good day. I definitely think we should doll up at Lews where we can go over the top and not be arrested! To Brissy I'll just wear jeans, probably something warm needed on top in June - and a feather boa!! I'll definitely be there - don't know about travel arrangements yet. I am not keen on driving in Brisbane - I had to when David was down there in the Mater hospital - but it's not something I enjoy. Depends on what Katherine is up to - if she's in the middle of end of term exams she won't be wanting to come to Brisbane with us so Chris will probably stay home with her. Otherwise, she and Chris would do the markets, shops etc while I am socialising. I may even get the bus. However - they are just minor details - whatever or however, I will definitely be there. Rebs, if you want husbands for this 'surprise' you are planning - I'm sure we can work something out. If you don't want husbands, not a problem either. I'm easy...!! Sounds as if they had a genuinely great time at Wonga. They should start staggering home soon and they will be skiting about the great time they had all over the Wattle thread. They will soon find the interesting new peeps who have joined us whilst they were away. That old lush from Chelsea is a pain in the butt - goodness knows how she managed to trip into this thread. Think a coffee is needed Catch you all later Anna

Good late afternoon just had to have a nanny nap really bu*****d so maybe you were right Rebs about Mumsie she is over the hill , and I know darlin no little innocent of mine would be naughty when Mumsie is off playing hostess with the very mostess of everything, including bits and pieces of left over food that she has grazed on all day I mean not the good for ya stuff unfortunatly, the left over cc's and choccies and cake and h/made brownies and the dregs of all the bottles of wine lol only joshing we can proudly say there was no dregs ok. shall be putting photos on gc photo page if I can do in a minute I think my photos are on page 14 or I will start a new lot off whatever There's some of when Heather from Albury fell in pool but we won't tell her she doesn't remember we pulled her out stood her in front of the fire and she dried off none the wiser Judy yv she went in to rescue her and decided she'd stay in there we had to pull her out too but she was none the wiser either, Tony just kept playing his guiter and singing, while Barb disappeared into my pantry looking for bar codes. Vonny well she was doing a congo line round the pool singing Like a Virgin for the first time like a virgin ,ohhhhh last seen disappearing off with the Tattslotto tickets in her hand, still singing, Shazz well she kept wanting to go on the putor and tell a certain 'LADY' exactly how evil she thinks she is and not to be such a witch we'll leave you guessing who the' Lady'is but Shazz would like to turn the clock back and burn her at the stake I think , so don't mess with our Shazz , and of course she's not a Wattler course they are all lubbly lol Laurie well I think she really enjoyed herself in between helping moi kept looking in the kitchen and she was directing affairs with Shazz and her o/h in tow too, and singing along with Tony playing It was really great that everyone was so happy and all the O/H seem to get on well and each of them seemed to find someone to have a talk too and they circulated around and all did us proud they were terrific Barb Tonys o/h is reeally one of us too and I hope she enjoyed herself too we cause we all loved her and all listened when she gave us some hints on winning competitions although probably only the ones she not going in lol and we all said we will keep the barcodes and send big heaps to her, she then files them away and waits till they have a comp and then sends in lots of entries. haha Barb no we found out your secret we really not gunna send them to ya now we'll be doing that for ourselves ........ then remembers ... ohhh sorry forgot your Tony's other half and he's our bestest mate so ok we'll send them to you so you can keep winning and just in case Tony doesn't want to go and none of the girls want to go I'll be here waiting patiently only not to Hong Kong ok Barb thanks all the same well girls and any boys who are reading but not adding bye for now hope all our friends have nearly arrived home by now safe and sound love to all Lara P.S Tony you snuck in there under me good to see you are home safe and sound loved having all of you mate we had a good time and glad you did too love to Barb

Early evening all We had a storm race through here, cooled everything down and watered the garden....yipppee! I had a nice relaxing morning with Graeme, ham & cheese croisants and the paper. The only way to spend a Sunday morning. Once refreshed and invigorated I attacked some dusting. No......don't feel sorry for me. It was my small collection of depression era green glass and I enjoy cleaning it. I re-arrange it on the 2 shelves and have a good 'play' with it. I was thinking of adding to the collection but a lotto win of $2 doesn't go far. Oh well meybe with next weeks tickets. Fingers X X X I've just had a peek in the new garden shed and it's dry so we must have put it together right.....thank the gods! Hi Gwen....welcome to the best thread on the site. I think I recognise you from the party on my Royal Barge last week. From memory you had a good time with one of Nefer's brothers. I'll let you know when it's on again. I hope the Wonga lot surfaced ok this morning. Have a safe trip home guys ~~~~waves helloooo. Rebs....just where did your daughter sit? I might send Mark there.......he's always in need of some extra change. He's gone up to Brissie tonight for a night on the town with some mates from the car group.....they could all sit there heee heeee. SuzyQ......Brissie meet......tiarra, boa and NOW formal wear!!!! I'm gonna need new shoes, handbag, gloves..........no not gloves, I hate the darn things. I'm trying to convince Graeme to come but he's still a no-show at the moment. There is nothing else for it........I'll just have to take Nefer to carry my bags. Hi Lew Lew..........roast beef sounds nice. Can I have a nice rare piece please? Have you decided on a rug yet? I'm just trotting off for a while..........still trying to dig up aunty Jessie. See y'all later. Hugs from me on the Royal barge Trifley

Evening Wattlers Well I decided to have a quiet weekend and spend time with David as we was kid free and wow what has happened around here? Firstly I went to check up on what everyone was up to and I went back 12 pages and still couldnt find where all the ones that went to Yarrawonga said bye to us. Then where did all these new people come from that I have never seen before? Anyway I hope the ones that went to Yarrawonga had a great time and by the look of it the ones that stayed home seem to have had a busy time entertaining our visitors to the thread. Congrats Tony and Lara on Pies winning. Yes the mighty Hawks also won, if only just but a point is a point and we will take the win gracefully lol. Cheers Sue
