Evening All, Feeling much better now apart from a rotton cough ( any remedy's) apart from cough medicine. Have tried lemon juice with honey, no good. A bit late but happy birthday Vonny. We could do with Wilson's rain in the Gong, it's so dry I think thats why there is so many bugs around ( my therory) anyway. What a hoo haa about Toby being put out of dancing with the stars. My favourite is Grant, I know lots will beg to differ but thats my choice, He started from scatch and has come a long way. But then I think Kostu should have gone last night, Well there you go. Mary hope your ready for your visitor and you have a great time together see you all tomorrow Sandra in the Gong

Evening All Still cold here, as it has been all day, we also had a bit of rain. Well they are on the last stage of getting the miners out, although that could still take a couple of days. Lew yes I agree totally with you that hopefully the media will leave them alone, but Im sure some wont. They have actually set up a 'refuge' centre (I think that is what they called it) so the relatives and friends have a place to go and have peace without the media in their face as they are banned from entering the place. Have got all my family history on the computer sorted out in folders so I can find things when I am looking for them. Which will make it a lot easier now, all I have to do is to keep it in order when I add more stuff. I am going to have an early night tonight, got the electric blanket on and warmed the bed, so I will catch all you lovely people tomorrow. Cheers Sue

Hi Julie, Just sent you one more piccy. Glad you liked them. Sandra - Lemon and honey is my favourite remedy but a friend uses cider vinegar in some warm water! Jood, have sent you another email. Yes, we were a bit puzzled about all the newbies (but we weren't going to let on) but once we tumbled to a few of them we realized what was happening. However, I did think Elderly Mother Of One was for real - at least until I got home!! And I think some others did also :) I have a table arriving tomorrow - an oval extension one to seat ten. Harvey Norman catalogue. Apparently we bought the last one in the country!!!! I definitely think you should all join me at the health resort in 4 years time. Wouldn't THAT be a hoot!!!!! Night all, Vonny

Morning All. Hope you are all feeling well. I had a good night last night and feel much better this morning. So it's off to the office (blah) (57 sleeps!) The painters to finally arrived to do the last bit of patching. I'm going to be very happy when it's all finished and we can have the place to ourselves. I think the painters are laughing at me, 'cause I'm sitting here with my flanelette pj's on. They're got dalmation spots on them. What else would Crewella wear??? Beautiful day here in the Tablelands. Sunny with not a cloud in the sky (bugger!). Well, off to the shower and the office. Hope you all have a wonderful day. Lew Lew xxx

Good morning Wattlers who aren't waffling much this morning ! A glorious Autumn day on Botany Bay Sunny, but cool - the little breeze out there has a crispness to it. The walkers all look different as the trackies have come out of the closet. One ship in one ship out already today, and the tugs are over at Kernell helping a tanker get ready to leave. Only three giraffes getting to stretch high. The water is all sparkly, but not much activity on it - just a few fishermen out near the heads. The view inside is not so good - filing cabinet is empty - little piles of papers all sorted - garbage bag full of felled trees - just working on a cross reference system to save duplication. When I am finished sorting I am going to have a list for each person/line of where to go next. The lovely Ray is off to Vegas today, hes all thawed out in Jakarta, headed for that desert heat (and wind) - not to mention the bright lights! He had a late night last night traffic coming back into town as chockers as there had been a demonstration during the day and streets were blocked off. Rent a crowd at its best, one side pays the villagers to come in by the bus loads, the other side pays them off when they get into the city to go back. Glad your feeling better this morning Lew Lew, just take it easy for a few days. Hope all the others bugs have moved on and everyone is feeling better. Take care and have a great day! cheers luv Laurie

Morning everyone, Glad you're feeling better Lew Lew and hope all our others on the sick list are on the improve too. Vonny - thanks for the piccies. Yes, the scotsman was really good - one of the more unusual we have seen over the years. The detail was exceptional. Think the bumblebees were my faves tho - so cute going up together and then separating. Catch up with everyone later, off to the kitchen to make lasagne for dinner tonight. Have a great day - lovely and sunny here today - quite a contrast to yesterday's grey day. Cheers, Gwenda

Morning Wilson. Soooo pleased to hear about the rain. Sound it to the NSW Central Tablelands and we'll send it back in a week. We're so pleased we sold the farm, as I don't think we could endure another winter hand feeding 400 head of cows, plus progeny. I'm sure the bank balance couldn't have endured it either, lol. Have fun on the tractor and good luck at the doctors. Hi to everyone. Back at work today and looking forward to leaving in 57 sleeps. I think once you make the decision to go, your hearts not really in it. ~~~waving~~~ Lew Lew xxx

Good morning all Glad to hear your feeling better Lew and sounds as though you have it on the run mate , Laurie wish I could be some where warm too its cold here and occasionally we get a glimpse of the sun but not for long, I'm trying to do what you are doing and its not working as usual as I get into it and then someone arrives or someone wants something done ( not pointing at anyone ) and it gets left or if its a visitor, I chuck it all back together again and shove it away and its one big hell of a mess again, Bugger I have to get it together and sorted so as I can decide what I want to take away with me sure as eggs are eggs I'll leave behind the one thing I need desperatly it's Murphy's Law isnt it . Wont be able to go to Brissie meetup very sadly, as our caravan won't be ready or at least it's not coming of the production line till the 5th of June and then it goes to Mildura and then we have to drive up there and bring it home and pack it and all before we leave so another Bugger ! Sandra the Boob thing went fine it was over in a second she was so efficent the lady who did it and very gentle compared to some I've experienced. Hello Julie hope your studies are going well and you are at least getting some warmer weather now over there Laurie Not fair I cant find any one with family photos except me and some of these photos I have are not named and thats so sad dont know who they are so all of tyou aout there reading this get you mum and dad to tell and write gently on the back of your photos or parents photos with a pencil putting name dob and place where born if known and who they are the child of or relation to you or your parents its heart breaking to have photos like I do and to know that they are family but you don't know who. Vonny good on you getting the tickets on your own my friend and glad you like the photo of John just after I did it and sent it, the lap top turned it self of again so don't know what's happening but my fixit man is in Wangarratta so have to wait till I have the car to go over there to him don't want to leave it with him if I can help it as then have to go back again to pick it up so have to wait till he can do in a day if that's possible of course hopefully its just a small prob and nothing too drastic that is wrong with it. have to go and answer some emails now talk some more later my friends love Lara

Oh Lara, so sad the van is delayed . . . Re names on back of photos . . . have to laugh, got my dad to do that, but, dear old darlin' he has written Anslem Goring on the back of one very large pic, which was from the Dover studios - Anslem never went to Dover - and the pic is exactly same as the smaller version I have of gtgtgramps Parks written on by gtgramps. I guess I waited to long to ask! I've noticed a few other little errors he made, God love him! Need a cuppa refill cheers luv Laurie :-)))))))

Wow, I am so lucky, . . . . favourite photo in the bunch, grandfather and one of my cousins in the back yard of his home and the dunnie up the back - can still remember sweeping the dirt path out there, to clear the catheads off the path. The broom was sooo big - or maybe I was so little . . . cheeers luv Laurie

Ouch catheads!!! Nasty little critters. We had an outdoor dunny, too, Laurie. My sisters used to wake me up at night to 'stand guard' at the door, lol. Chickens!!! Lew x
