No Snootie my name is fine, just a bit of a tongue tier., I can't repeat the thoughts that came into my head after seeing Sloopy Dippindoodle. Combined with the Dippinlips and pussy piercing images already there it was just too much to handle. *bless me father and mother and aunty and uncle, but I am still sinning with wicked thoughts...........

Laurie Report 14 May 2006 08:01

Good afternoon Wattlers all, and a vey happy Mothers Day . . . The lovely Ray arrived at 6.30 this morning, must have rocks in my head - I cooked breakfast on Mothers Day!!! Then he had a snooze while I unwrapped all my parcles he brought me home - took simply ages, . . . . in my dreams it was his dirty clothes that needed washing! But he did well at Victoria's Secret - bulk buying I think its called . . . pmsl, dear man got extra in case I cant get any till next year . . . . I know what I'll be giving for pressies during the year !!!! Then big long phone conversations with the boys - both in for a long chat - would be nice to be up home today! What started out as an overcast looking day on the way to the airport this morning, turned into a glorious day by the bay, the Off Shores races were on - big high powered boats, roaring around the bay, helicopters hovering above them (3 helicopters most of the time) hoping not to miss that shot if a boat should overturn - We sat there on our perch watching them - helicopters were coming up close - almost joining us for a cuppa! Then it was off to work . . . I am currently out at the office in Campbelltown with his nibs, he has heaps of work to catch up on - wont be in the office tomorrow for long, he has some guys from the factory in China in town and is taking them out on the boat - then NZ tuesday - just back from Vegas this morning - he calls it work - so I guess it must be !!! Much colder out here than in town, and the clouds look like it could rain. Lew, were you an angel today and reunite mother & daughter for Mothers Day Heeeeheeee - Suzy Q I dont know if I want to be Dipsy Farklesniffer, though at times I can be a bit Farkling Dipsy . . . Well I should get off here and go help Ray so we can get out of here quicker . . . he is taking me out to dinner tonight - and take it from me he isn't getting off lightly . . . but I'm worth it . . pmsl Do you know what I love most of all about Mothers Day, thinking about my darling mumbo or as I used to call her ('IssyWissyPissyKrissy') - hell will freeze over before I let on the tag she gave me back . . . . much loved and missed best friend, confidant, and MOTHER! :,-) cheers luv Laurie

Hi Laurie, I too have mixed feelings on Mother's day. I always feel a little bit sad without my mum, but I also have such loely memories of her. She was my best friend I I still miss her heaps, even after 13 years. It's been good to have a laugh with the silly names, but I really didn't think that you would want to reveal yours. Tony's is a belter, expecially if he is an Anthony. Goes with the fishnets don't you think. It will be nice to have Ray home, I used to miss neville when he had to be away for business. Most times I couldn't go because I had to keep the staff in line. Will we be having a fashion parade tonight al la Victorias secret. You don't have to answer that. Well, I think i have caused a bit of a disturbance today so maybe I should slink off into the naughty corner. Bye SuzyQ alias Snooty Dippinlips.

Evening all I am not even going to try and say all the strange names that are floating about on this thread at the moment and I am only on here for a few moments. Hope all the Mums had a lovely day today and all the guys looked after the mothers in their lives. I had a great day, bacon and eggs for breakky, went and had luch with my Nan and Mum and Dad. Then picked up the girls from their Dads. At the moment I am watching a new DVD that I got for mothers day it is an Adam Brand Concert mmmmmmmmm so I had to put it on straight away well seeing I cant take my eyes off the tv, and I am also supposed to be getting ready as David and the girls are taking me out to tea to the Casino. I will go and catch you after I get back home. Cheers Sue

Fluffy Chicken Chunks reporting in. Sorry I couldn't get here sooner for the mirth and merriment. Last of the family just went home. Shazz, The table worked out beeuutifully and second Son-I-L took a photo but I have to wait for him to download it. Then I'll send it to you all. I folded special serviettes with a little pocket and tucked some violets in each one - cute. Don't know if I'll repeat that :) used Mum's and Mum-I-Law's glass and crystal so they were both represented for the day. No, we didn't finish the puzzle - the blue sky is proving too hard. So we slid it off onto another board! ~~~~~~~~~~ to all, Vonny

~ Why God made Mums ~ Brilliant answers given by 2nd grade school children!!! Why did God make mothers? 1. She's the only one who knows where the scotch tape is. 2. Mostly to clean the house. 3. To help us out of there when we were getting born. How did God make mothers? 1. He used dirt, just like for the rest of us. 2. Magic plus super powers and a lot of stirring 3. God made my Mum just the same like he made me. He just used bigger parts. What ingredients are mothers made of? 1. God makes mothers out of clouds and angel hair and everything nice in the world and one dab of mean. 2. They had to get their start from men's bones. Then they mostly use string, I think. Why did God give you Your mother & not some other mum? 1. We're related 2. God knew she likes me a lot more than other people's mums like me. What kind of little girl was your mum? 1. My mom has always been my mum and none of that other stuff. 2. I don't know because I wasn't there, but my guess would be pretty bossy. 3. They say she used to be nice. What did mum need to know about dad before she married him? 1. His last name. 2. She had to know his background. Like is he a crook? Does he get drunk on beer? 3. Does he make at least $800 a year? Did he say NO to drugs and YES to chores? Why did your mum marry your dad? 1. My dad makes the best spaghetti in the world. And...my Mum eats a lot. 2. She got too old to do anything else with him. 3. My grandma says that Mum didn't have her thinking cap on. Who's the boss at your house? 1. Mum doesn't want to be boss, but she has to because dad's such a goof ball. 2. Mum. You can tell by room inspection. She sees the stuff under the bed. 3. I guess Mum is, but only because she has a lot more to do than Dad. What's the difference between mums &dads? 1. Mums work at work and work at home & dads just go to work at work. 2. Mums know how to talk to teachers without scaring them. 3. Dads are taller & stronger, but mums have all the real power 'cause that's who you got to ask if you want to sleep over at your friend's. 4. Mums have magic. They make you feel better without medicine. What does your mum do in her spare time? 1. Mothers don't do spare time. 2. To hear her tell it, she pays bills all day long. What would it take to make your mum perfect? 1. On the inside she's already perfect. Outside, I think some kind of plastic surgery. 2. Diet. You know, her hair. I'd diet, maybe blue. If you could change one thing about your Mum, what would it be? 1. She has this weird thing about me keeping my room clean. I'd get rid of that. 2. I'd make my Mum smarter. Then she would know it was my sister who did it and not me. 3. I would like for her to get rid of those invisible eyes in the back of her head. cute eh!! Vonny
