Laurie Report 17 May 2006 05:50

Afternoon all - I had a good morning !! Joodles, I may have slept through the earth moving - but lots about here didn't - some saying they got a wee bit terrified, thought the building was swaying! Lots of rude comments being made around the lunch table. But I earned my therapy session, Ray had me doing the Play School thing for an hour, cutting, pasteing and stapleing - and real old fahioned stuff not puter type!! His display wasn't going to well - but I fixed it so I am number 1 PA again! Tony if you were trying to make me feel guilty about not cooking breaky . . . . it didn't work! Trifley, def limo style was the end result, though Adie who was going for sensible, got amazingly different! we are going to get her training wheels when we go out tonight. Anna I thought of your shoe buying joke, but twas a lovely lady who served me so I didn't go that far (hope you feel better, dont you just hate those change of weather colds). Lew I made mistake of talking about the furniture being tied down in the wrong company - didn't know one of the guys was a kiwi . . . the lovely Ray covered for me though - told them he hadn't given me my pills yet today! Lara, I hear you hon, but no worries here - I dont throw any old thing out !!!! Just ask Ray - he is still around! We have a cocktail party tonight, so I best go take the 'nice' pills and get ready . . . Talk to you tomorrow cheers luv Laurie

I'd have to agree Trifley ............ wouldn't be very nice to see Queen of the Nile staggering down Brisbane Streets .. you dont want to bring discredit to us other Wattlers pmsl Sounds like its going to be one helluva day/night! Jood

Yeah, falling off the ferry would be real regal, pmsl. What's happening with the barge, anyway? No, Lara, Terry knew nothing about the mysterious daughter. He now knows why first wife didn't want him involved when she first got pregnant. Cause it would have come out that she had already had one (or however many!!!). Anyway, he's going to speak with first wife on Saturday and warn her that she had better let their sons know and also do something about fixing up her Will (stupid woman). I'll keep you posted. Have had a look at your locket. You'll have to take it to one of those Antiques Roadshow thingies. Seeya Lew Lew x

Trifley Report 17 May 2006 06:00

No Laurie, it just means everything we DO is in a regal manner......even getting feschnickered.....we do it with class! Trifley xx PS....I HATE spread-sheets! Maybe if I knew what I was doing it wouldn't be so bad!

Judy Report 17 May 2006 06:04

She said Nefer wasnt going Rebs, could you really trust Queen Nile to stand up with a pole and push you all from one side of the river to the other in her state? <without falling off> Jood

Queen ? Oh sh*t !!! You're not going to do the royal wave thing are you? Warning you Trifley, you start with the royal waves and I'll be sending you across on a real barge. Not a classy Cleo style barge either.......plenty of sand dredgers along the Brissy River. *wonders how on earth I got myself into this.......and how can I get out?*

The last one I had was a 3month UK one, which I paid for in US dollars. Can't find it now. Hope the breaky works out Laurie, what ever you have in mind. Hey Jood (yeah I know, now everyone will be singing it!), the certificates cost 10 pound to order online and arrive in a couple of weeks, so that's not too bad. Anna, young thing like you would have bunions, surely. Bet you'll be gorgeous, and with lots of bling! Lew Lew xxx

Evening folk. Well after rain that did not eventuate this morning, the day ended up hot and sunny. Different story now. It's raining and the house is like a blasted fridge. Cold enough to shut the bedroom windows, but they have been open for so long I had to spray WD40 on them, and go out into the rain to push them in. I think it's the first time they have been shut since Sep last year. lol Looking forward to dinner, home made chicken and vegie soup with thick chunks of garlic/parmesan bread. Yummmmm !!
