Sorry.....:>((.....didnt win the lotto......dont start packing just yet. Lara......dad could buy her a pub!!...lol In her dreams maybe. Dad might haffta help cough up $1,800 for Barb's car service.....:>(( Everytime i open me wallet me plastic card says......O'h no!!...not you again.....lol If anyone is interested, there is a way we could have a Ozzie lotto pool. Someone ( cant remember who ) suggested it on the first Wattle thread. It can be done ( without exchanging $$ ) to buy the ticket, so if you are interested, email me, and i will put a letter to-gether explaining how it could work. And of course, only if we get enough interested. Tony Oz..:>))

Hi Wattlers The place seems a little less bright without our Rebs. I have emailed her but as yet, no answer. Had a response from a hot match....yaaayyyy! And what a response! I now have more info on my hubby's paternal gt grandmother. My god didn't people back then have a lot of kids?? This info alone, has been worth the membership to GR. I am a very excited person now....yayyyy:o) Tony....have sent you a pm about the lotto. Hope your mum is getting better each day. Possums in the roof...noisy, smelly, little critters. If you can't catch them try Arnotts BBQ shapes.....they luv 'em ha ha. Happy hunting :o) Lara..... you sound a little under the weather. I hope it is only a passing phase and that you'll be sparking on all fours again soon. Don't let the worry about Rebs get to you. She is a big girl and will be ok. Lew Lew....VERY NICE lounge. I am impressed! So versitile and it looks soooo comfy too. You did good, girl <<<<clap>>>>> SuzyQ........you seem a lot brighter....good to hear you are getting on top of things. When you're low there is only one way to go..............that's UP. To all the rest of the Wonderful Waffling Wattlers (too numerous to mention individually)......... a big hug and a happy wave. I'm off to add some dead people to our tree. See y'all later. luv Pharaoh Trifley Queen of The Nile

Hi there wattlers, Hope those of you feeling ill are now better and those who are well are dangerous. Lew, the suite is great, that's what I need, a complete change and bringing up to date. Well, I can dream. I am having a very lazy day today, it's great. Where is Mary and Laurie. I am missing the travel documentaries. They must be having so much fun they have forgotten all about us. I am proud to be Australian. Our athletes are doing so well. It's hard to keep track of them all. I hope the track and field do well, although I don't think it is such a popular sport in Australia. Lara I have just read and contributed to the thread for Rebs. What a popular girl our rebs is. There must be some way we can get her back. To everyone, have a great day, Love SuzyQ

19th March, 2006 My dear mother in law survived her cancer operation but suffered a fatal heart attack this morning. I have known her for 42 years and despite my marriage to her son ending in 1975, she and I have remained good friends through thick and thin throughout the years. I will truly miss her. May she rest in peace Anna

Good morning All and another sunny day here in Mudgee. Will you Queenslanders please stop hogging the rain and send it south!!! But on a serious note, hope everyone up there is safe and well. Hubby did a wonderful barbie for our friends last night. Chillie and Garlic Prawns to die for. Yummy. We watched a DVD about canalling through the UK, as we are thinking of doing this in the next couple of years. It looked like great fun and a wonderful way to see the country, very relaxing. I'm going to give Rebs a ring during the week and will report back to you all. Anna, again my condolences re your MIL. Tassie, yes I think you're the baby. I'm a 1961 child. Hope you all have a fantastic day and the weather is kind to you wherever you are. Lew Lew xxx

Hi everyone Many thanks Devly, Lara, Joodles, Julie and Gwenda for your kind thoughts. Lara - love the poem and I've taken a copy of it. Brother in law's parents live at Cardwell so have loaded their caravan and headed for the hills. Just hope there is something left when they get back. Lara, can you send me a pm with Reb's email please - shall get in touch with the rebellious one. Tony - hope your Mum is doing OK. Gwenda - Ive had my cold for 2 weeks and it still hasn't gone completely. Such a nuisance and leaves you feeling drained of energy. Wonder if Princess Lew of the BBQ has surfaced yet today? No doubt a few toasts were raised to the new furniture, the new house, the commonwealth games and let's face it - who needs an excuse to raise a toast! Hope you can get your head off the pillow by lunchtime Lew!! Wishing all a good day and let's hope the cyclone is not too destructive. Anna

Anna Report 19 Mar 2006 22:56

Sorry Lew - you snuck in under me. Take back all I said about the hangover! Thanks for your kind thoughts. Have some friends who are going canalling in England in a few months' time - will let you know how they fared. They are going with another couple and the boat they are going on is quite big - en suites etc - so sounds very civilised. And you get to see parts of the country that you never would otherwise. Have a good day Anna
