Hello All,

I had a list with me today, never got one thing that was on it..........except Rog's gift.....Lol

I did come home full up again, table dressings - that kind of stuff......I wrapped up well because of the cold and in the shops it was roasting, at one of the tills i felt a little lightheaded but that soon passed once i was outside.........glad i am home,
I may need to go out again tomorrow to try and at least get a few of the things on my list.........

I still have a lot of gifts to get, i wander round the shops looking for things but i struggle with my nephews and nieces children because they are all still babies/toddlers.

I am going to look in the argos, boots and other catalogues after to give me some ideas.....

I should have been in Belgium this weekend with my friends doing some shopping but i pulled out - sorry i did now !

How are you going with the Christmas shopping Rog and Lyn ??

Hi Jacky, christmas shopping !
My wife Rosemarie does all the shopping food and presents, wont take me, it seems i slow her down, get in the way, buy things i shouldnt, get things for myself, and am generally a big pest, took me years to perfect that, hoho
The only buying i do is for her, but she never tells me what she would like, so it is very hard, i expect all you ladies are the same though.

My other half does what you say took you years to perfect, in the kitchen he makes a right mess, he knows i am particular and i would tell him to leave it and i would do it myself........No more though, i just say i will eat out until it is cleaned, and off i go .........mean are'nt i ....Lol We both work full time, so we should share the workload i say !! ...or i will go part time and do the housework as well.

PS - dont tell him, but i like doing the housework.......ROFL

my OH mostly comes with me , he,s the driver
yes rog he always buys something for himself
but generally he is a good help .
i have getting a lot delivered this year
its so much easier , and warmer.
i dont mind housework either jacky
nathan is quiete tidy so there is not much to do all the time , mind i hate doing windows

Late again! Oh well it wouldn't be me if I wasn't! Been scanning pics for a friend and putting them on a disc. It's her husband's 50th and she's having a celebration on Friday and it promises to be a good bash. She had some of the pics on a disc and gave me the numbers of the ones she wanted taking off the disc. There was a really good one of her looking quite drunk singing away on the karaoke. It wasn't included in her list but I made an executive decision to put it on the cd I'm doing for her. Let's face it, if her husband is going to be embarrassed and she's the cause of it, then why shouldn't she! Won't tell her, see if she finds out first and then look forward to seeing her face on the night :)

My goodness, everyone's been busy shopping and battling with those big stores! What a nightmare it is especially now. Liverpool starts late night shopping in December and the train costs 50p return to the city on Thursday evenings - well at least I think that's how it works! Hope you have all had a productive day although doesn't seem like you did Jacky :(

Hoping all are well, I'm off to make a cuppa, speak tomorrow.

Hello...I'm back....how quick was that !!

I bought the nieces and nephews babies/toddlers ( all under 2 yrs of age) a little white hooded dressing gown each - they are sooo cute, with blue PJs for the boys and pink for the girls, will give them to the parents before the Christmas so they can put them on Christmas Eve........and 5 little white Teddies to give them when they visit..........all out of the 1 shop !!

Just going to relax this pm.

Wow Jacky, you now have earned the title of 'Santa's Super Shopper'. You will be entered into the regional finals and should you get through that there is a good chance you will go through to the National finals to be held on 29th December at the Royal Albert Hall in the presence of HRH The Queen Elizabeth and her hangers on!

Finished sorting out and putting photos onto cd for my friend this afternoon. Going to get started on the crossword soon. The prize is the boost to get it completed and posted off.

hi everyone. hope youall are ok. i havent been in touch as i've been busy but just to let you know my daughter inlaw is still have chemo, though she doesnt think its helping too much, i jus admire how she copes with it all at the young age of 24. .i am taking her and my sons and my grand daughter away for two weeks at xmas,. just in case this is her last, but i try to tell her theres alot of things she has to do first and this is one of them. we'd always said we'd love to go on holiday and just have fun.Now during one of our little chats i discovered that she would realy like to put on a wedding dress and have pictures taken. i had the biggest lump in my throat, so i thought i'd try and write to one of the big stores here in london to see if they would allow me to take her there and get her all dressed up and take pics of her. what do you think. i know its worth the chance, do you know of anyone who would be willing to do this for her... she would go mad if she knew i was writing this about her. but i want to help 2do something she realy wants . thanx jacki b

Rose, i bet your house is lovely, i always say - if people dont like mine, they only have to turn around - and leave.............and my Mam always said - a home is a place to relax and not a museum were you are afraid to "touch anything". As long as you and your hubby are happy, that is the main thing.
I get were you are coming from though, my s i l has eyes in the back of her head...........Lol
