Well done Jacky on finding Redvers Buller, a whole new world of family opening up to you hney!

Had a good night last night, when our party guest arrived he was absolutely stunned, spotted me and OH and shouted across 'Hang on, this isn't for me it's for your anniversary, I've got your card here!' So he was thrilled and his wife was relieved that she doesn't have to lie to him any more. So just thought I would pop on before we go out tonight, finishing off doing housework and then into the bath for a nice long soak to get myself warm.

Hello all, been nice and sunny but cold and windy, now its raining again, still i went up the allotment earlier and dug up all the parsnips, quite a lot, rose says she will freeze most of them so we will have some for xmas,probably have them roasted tomorrow as well, yummy yummy

Oooooooo, i bet it looks lovely and homely now Rose, i love it when the Christmas lights are on in the dark with no TV......

I made a garland for over my fireplace with the red cherry lights on - everyone who calls say how nice it looks - well i like it anyway........lol

Good morning everyone, this is the earliest you have ever seen me on here, had gone to bed and was fast asleep when phone rang, Pops had had a fall in his flat and couldnt get up, this was at 4am, so went over but he is so heavy couldnt lift him, so got ambulance crew in and they put him back in bed, he is fine now, no damage, so all is well, execpt i am no longer tired, not going back to bed so will do a bit of research.

I just have the icecles around the top of the front of the house and the wreath on the front door Rose, the houses are all quite new - about 40 of them, and we all do the same, it looks really nice when you drive through - i feel i would let everyone down if my house was the only one without............Lol

Still lashing with wind and rain here, have'nt been out today.

Hello Jacky, Rose and Lyn,
Its very stormy now heavy rain, strong gale force winds,and cold enough to form proper icicles on top of house, Brrrrrrrrrr
Seem to be getting a bit if a cold, runny nose, sore eyes, bit of a head ache, mind you it could be results of a very long day, cos i do feel very sleepy, having a job at times to stop nodding off, hohoho, probably be right as rain tomorrow.

Sorry Jacky i didnt answer your question, no Pops hasnt got a life line, but we have been talking about it, trying to find out where you get them from. mind you if he keeps on having these tumbles etc, he might have to thihk about a residential home or somthing.
Trouble is when something happens i am the nearest, and that trip takes nearly an hour to get there, anything could happen in that hour, as it was last night it seems he was down on the floor from 1am to 4,15am
