Hi Sandie

I have to go soon as I am travelling to a small town called Kulin which is about 300 kms away from where I live. I am going to a Lodge meeting which I don't expect will finish before 10.30 tonight so I have booked into the local pub

It should take about 4 hrs to get there. So I won't be on the thread again until Sunday evening UK time: in other, words my normal time.

Hi Allan ~~

Hope you have a good trip and meeting.
4 hrs is a long drive, cos that's longer from North Wales to South Wales, or from here to Heathrow airport. Take care who ever is driving :)
When we used to drive to Cornwall on hols the kids would say 'How much longer...? lol
Take care yourself.. Sandie.x

Thanks Sandie

Because Rural West oz is not congested like the UK you can do an average higher speed. The only problem is is that some of the roads are very quiet and isolated! OH is staying at home so I'll be doing all the driving :-(

Petrol stations are also few and far between and that poses its own problems
