Wow !! Hope you have air conditioning Allan.
We had the central heating on, not all day, first thing and then later in the evening after outside doors had been opened.

WE have air conditioning Sandie. Reverse cycle downstairs (cools in summer and heats in winter) but after about 3 hours continuous running the temp rises slightly. We have it set at 25c and the temp will creep up to 27c.

We turn it off for 15 minutes and then everything is fine fro another period of time.

Upstairs we have evaporative airconditioning. We can't run the two together as the upstairs one requires all the bedroom windows to be open, yet the downstairs unit requires that all windows and doors be shut.

Baked beans on toast.

We obviously have to have central though, all rads are on thermostats, son quite often doesn't have his on.
We have a ventilating system also which blows dry air to reduce condensation on the windows in cold weather , can be used in the summer of course but we never have a need for it then :((
