You are an early riser.... or very late going to bed !!
Oh for the temp anywhere near 30 Allan, son said he registered minus 9 this morning, it was still freezing temps at noon but blue skies and sunny.
Give me a bit of warmth any day.
That sounds a lovely trip you're going on ..enjoy yourselves :-) :-)

An Early riser Sandie. Most days up at 3.00 am to go for a walk. A lovely time of the day! I usually walk for an hour and a half: it helps control my diabetes (type2)

I hope that I enjoy the trip. I'm not a good sailor although most of my boat trips have been short eg crossing the Channel or going to the Isle of Man and Northern Ireland

Gosh that's very early. Do you go to bed early or not need too much sleep?
I usually have 7 to 8 hours a night.

Edit ..Sorry about your Diabetes.

Allan

Allan Report 3 Feb 2012 22:59

Sandie, no need to be sorry about the diabetes. I was diagnosed 13 years ago after I had had a pulmonary embolism. There was no connection between the two conditions. I was just overweight and had a family disposition to diabetes. I wasn't aware of this but when I was diagnosed my GP suggested that I told my brother and that he ought to get tested. When he did ultimately go, he was also found to have it. He's three years older than me.

I usually go to bed at about 9.00pm. I never have been a 'night ' person

G'day Allan~~

Been for your walk today ?
We've had snow all day, whilst I quite walking in the rain ( as long as it's not windy with it ) I'm not fussed on a snow walk.

Yep Sandie, went for my walk and also bought the Sunday paper. It's the only one we buy. We do get two free community newspapers during the week which give us all the local news. Mainly use internet news sites or wait for the evening tv news.

A chilly 11c this morning :-(

Oh shame :-P ;-)

It was minus 11 when son went to work yesterday morning at 6.45 , when we went shopping today it was minus 6 .
I said on the Welsh thread about having 2 inches of snow today, where some had 'just' one inch....it's not a contest and if it is who has the most snow or how cold it is can I be the looser please.

Dau just said they've had snow in London( she speaking to her friend on Facebook I expect)... well that will bring chaos ! 2 flakes of snow would.
I don't like the very snowy conditions , but am used to it now living where I am.
The worst I remember living here was when it was level with the drive gates.
