I'm in a foul mood cos my mobile phone provider has messed up my bill..well they charged me for a new phone ( they said was free and accessories, I didn't want, which they said were free ) also their site is down so I can't contact them.
Steam coming out of my ears !
I want to cancel the DD now , but hubby says to wait and try again tomorrow .
His bleeding fault if we have to go chasing £80.
I never pay for a phone and don't intend to. :( Grrrrrr

I once nearly ended up with two phones. One ordered over the phone when I was contacted by provider re an update. When the phone hadn't arrived I thought that I had been scammed Went to providers local shop (call was fro Sydney) and told them what had happened. They siad they would sort it and issued me a new phone.
I got home and the second phone had been delivered by courier. Took it to the shop where staff said that they could not accept it as the retail and wholesale divisions were totally divorced. I spoke to the customer centre who said 'tough' you now have two contracts. It was only when I asked to speak to a supervisor that I was told I had 24hrs left to return my couriered phone :-|

It is due to be delivered on Monday, if I haven't sorted the finance side by then I don't quite know whether to accept it or not... I rather think not, and return to sender.
Pain in the butt!. And ,,oh yes I'd love to speak to someone in person !!
To tell them how they've messed up .

Some of the brethren in my lodge decided to make a few decisions that they weren't able to make without my consent. it has to do with our festive board which is held after our meetings, usually just a bit of supper and then home. However as it is Christmas wives and friens are invited and we try to get the lodge business out of the way ASAP. the ladies are always complaing that we take too long to join them.

So some of my esteemed colleagues took it upon themselves to change our business night so that on the actual business night we would open and close the lodge within five minutes.

I pointed out to them in no uncertain terms that as our meeting notce had gone out at the beginning of November with dates and times set we could not, and I would not, change them.

Some very senior members of lodge were involved, who should have known better :-|

Did you get your own / the right way tho ?! You seem as if you would have , but annoyed cos of how it was done.
Hope it all turned out OK.
We have visitors tomorrow, BIL and partner , she is a vegetarian ,so I've just got loads of veg in. I didn't know they were coming and that she was a vegetarian.
Had I known I would have cooked her something suitable, but apparently she is quite happy with just veg and a Bisto gravy for Sunday lunch.
I don't eat a lot of meat so we will probably have very similar meals.
I'm having real gravy tho !
