Hello all

Start of a busy period for me, and today we are SUPPOSED to have our replacement automatic garage door fitted.

The old one blew in in the big storm last July. The firm came about four weeks ago to fit one but it was cream. We hade ordered white.

Fitter tried to blame the girl in the office and said "wre'll get the right one down form Perth by next week at the latest" Sure!

He still has a wide grin on his face !

Hope you get your garage door sorted Allan :)

Busy days Thursday/Friday:set up the Lodge room Thursday morning for our Christmas meeting. Lodge in the Evevning which hopefully will all be over by 10.00pm. Then out before 0700 am on Friday Morning to help set up for another Sausage sizzle. Over to the Lodge room to tidy up and then back to help out at the SS until mid-day.

About 2 yrs ago my sis 'buzzed' our cousin on FR that neither of us had contact with for over 30yrs. Cousin spent a week or so with my sis last yr in the US..cousin lives in UK..
All hunky dory now.
Strange things that her father was responsible for of the break up of the relationship between my dad and her mum were...sort of sorted out. Basically her dad was a control freak. Burnt her veil on her wedding day :-| How sad is that !
Nowt as strange as folk and family as they say.
All my mum's side of the family have always been hunky dory :-D

Nougat

I am pleased to say that there are no family arguments ( never has been on mum's side ) and dad's is now....phew !!!! after so many yrs, sorted.
It would have been good for my dad and his sister to have been reconciled before my aunt's death. I took him to her funeral ,and peeps from the village weren't really aware of the rift .
Cos there was no public slanging match..they just didn't speak..end of. !!
Very strange as they lived next door to one another !...I couldn't hack that had it been me and my sis !

Onion Soup

I must admit that my brother and I do not talk much, but that's due more to upbringing rather than an argument.
