	Thank you all for your birthday wishes!! Yes Michael, - It's chucking it down here in Leicestershire too !!! Didn't want to go out on my birthday anyway !!! Had little grandson today but he has gone home now - GOSH I am worn out !! He was a little 'fractious' as he has a poorly foot so I am shattered ! His mum has taken him back to see the Doctor today so he went home early - I love him to bits but I am so pleased he has gone now as it feels like I have had him for a week !! He will be 2 in September but he is rather 'chunky' - I weighed him a few months ago and he was well past the 2 stone mark then so goodness knows what he is now. NOT fat, I hasten to add, just 'solid' if you know what I mean and I am 7 stone and rather frail so when he wants to be carried around all the time I find it difficult. Anyway, he gave me a lovely birthday kiss so I am happy. Dea x

	Many happy returns Dea. You'll have to emigrate to Scotland, I think they still get the"penny ticket" there at 60!! EDIT and the bonus is - it's dry there at the moment!!

	Well, they won't appreciate it and unfortunately they will probably end up crashing it!! - FAR too fast for a 'still learning' driver !! I remember I said to mine "you have to save up to buy your own but every penny you save, I will match" He was ony on a YTS apprenticeship at the time and earned very little but 'My Gosh' did he get up to about £600 SSSooo quickly !!!!! I doubled it for him and he bought his first little mini ! - It meant a lot to him though and he looked after it well, though he still crashed it but thankfully not at high speed. I just hope your sons friend's parents know what they are doing! Dea x

	HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEA xxxxx It's a lot cooler here today after that huge wind storm we had yesterday! Daft beggars do that over here as well .................. kid gets driver's license at 16, doting parents give him a mercedes, alfa or some such. We do have graduated licenses here now, which has helped cut down the huge death rate when one new driver packs all his friends in the car and goes off for a drive .......... high speed, laughter, inattention, inexperience ........ several parents devastated. s xxx
