I must admit I have copied my tree from 1800 to 1669 but one day I will try and see if it is correct.

Many years ago a lady in Australia wrote to my dad saying we were related and sent him many letters and updates on her tree. When I started doing this research dad said we came from a villiage in cornwall, but after looking at her tree we were not connected at all and we actually came from Devon (not far I know) Think dad was disapointed as mariners sounded better than Ag Labs.

Had a weird one this evening someone searching for a poss living person.

I replied because a week ago I was doing a bit of research for a very old friend of mine who lives in NZ and the name rang a bell.

I contacted her through facebook and it is her uncle this man was looking for.

Now I have to wait for her to come back to me before I can say anything else but I am sure he has died anyway and hopefully the death reg I sent was the right one.

So maybe when people put these messages on and we think no one will know them....they will lol

What on earth are you doing up at that time...back from clubbin again. Well at least you're keepin an eye on our Sylv ;)

Well, while you two blow zzzzzzz Im off to take a group of students to the Employment Tribunal today. Hope both parties have legal rep or it can be rather one sided

Have fun all ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I think I read somewhere that Taylor is the 5th most common name in the UK ?? We must have married 'commoners' Sylv!! lol

Since the tinkering with GR, I've started to put the name of the family mentioned on the thread, into the subject box when I send one of my messages out, hoping that they will open them and take note.

Now, they're all sending me their 'flipping trees 'cos they think we're related.....arghhhh.

Thinks.......how to head the next batch???

Bedroom tidying day.......see you later.
