Hi girls, yes voltrol Jane as I just googled it...it's still quite bad so don't think I'll be working tomorrow night!! I'll put some gel on it and get some of those heat patches...I don't bloody know if it's not one thing it's the other!!

Don't get Cura Heat pads as you can't put them straight on the skin.Poor you ,are you hobbling hanging on to your buttock???

I am a little confused. Who is jane? is it Helen in disguise?

Ann I am Jane .Helen was my birth name and the name I used on GR to find B Family.But as I have never actually been called Helen,it felt strange and I decided I would prefer to be Jane ,as I have been for 55 years LOL.

HI IT HAS POURED WITH RAIN ALL DAY,ME AND THE DOGS GOT SOAKED.
My grand daughters school fair was cancelled.Been busy doing housework most of the time and am now debating whether or not to turn on the wii and do some exercises.
My BP is still high so doc has increased the tablets.one side effect is you pee more,not so much more often but larger amounts lol
what with that and the sweating I must be dehydrated which could account for the slight headache that has been lingering.
Hope you are all ok and that your bad back eases up very soon,Pam xxxx

Well what a day.Lots of very heavy downpours,dark and so sticky.
Nice to see you back Lorraine.Are you back in your own house now?
I am going to London tomorrow ,I hope it doesn't rain like this.
Pam did you get any of those patches?Have you thought of a Tens ?They are good.
The dog an me are both sat so we can feel the big fan lol

I'm fading already thinking of that heat Lorraine lol.Tomorrow I shall probably be like a soggy lettuce leaf!!!!!.

Pam, I do exercises that I had from the physio to help my crumbling spine. I now do them regularly every day and find that the pain does not come on so early in the day, gives me chance to do a quick clean round the bungalow. Cant walk far on pavements as I feel as if back is breaking and finish up bent like a hairpin! Whatever you do, dont stop moving or you will seize up.

Jean that sounds so painful, I don't think there's anything worse than back pain or tooth ache!

Phew hope it doesn't get as hot as they say...I've got a feeling that we're in for a scorcher of a summer..'.I can feel it in my water' as they say!

No Jane i didn't get those patches as didn't want to be seen walking in public as i look like i've got a pole up my bum!! But will get some tomorrow hopfully...you and Chester keep cool!!

Have had a good day in London ,but it was far too hot.I have fat feet now lol, The first thing I did when I walked through the door was to whip my bra off.Ooohh Bliss !!!!.

Hi Lorraine, yep I didn't do a lot today either, got the fan blowing in the lounge and generally just chilled as they say.

Yes I think it's on the mend, I've only taken one painkiller today and I slept a bit better last night too.

Is it just me...and I know it's sad when anyone dies...but I think they're going a bit over the top about Michael Jackson. I'm getting a grumpy old lady perhaps...I bought a lot of his stuff and liked his music, but they just keep going on and on about it.

I will delete this if it offends anyone.
