IMO the site is not fit for its purpose and has not been so for a long time.

Caroline, just call me Priscilla :-D :-D :-D

And I will be doing a road, or at least a rail trip, across Oz later in the year...now what dress shall I wear! ;-) :-D :-D

JoyDean, Kathryn, I am also having problems with the error message, particularly on the Games Board. Sometimes things post and sometimes they don't, or at least appear not to post. However, when I receive the error message I press on the back key and then on My Threads and there it shows that my answer has been posted.

An unnecessary clat I agree

OK, when the page falls over. click on the genes Logo, goto the community button and hover down to the board you want(usually, for me, Quizzes) click on that and you should go straight to the board..

Well, the weather is anything but bland at the moment. The first major cold front of the season moved in last night bringing storms strong winds and heavy rains.

The storm started here in earnest at about 5.30pm, although it had been windy all day. Between then and 10.30pm almost 40mm of rain fell. This was after seventeen days of continual dry weather.

During the same seventeen day period last year we had over 60mm of rain spread over those days.

Storms are expected to abate this morning but only to be replaced by squally showers :-(

:-D :-D :-D

Still blowing a gale here locally, but down in Albany, 300 kms away, there are at least 5 bushfires raging.

While we have had heavy rain, Albany has only experienced the high winds which have not helped the situation :-(
