Hi all. Am in Canberra at the moment and have had a lovely day visiting the War Memorial, Parl, House, Duntroon ,, And driving around showing all good places to uncle who thought it was lovely. Some of you sound a little bit under the weather,, self inflicted and otherwise.. Hope you all recover soo and well..LOL Are we winning lotto tonight .. I am packed so I could go direct to the airport with uncle when he leaves week after next... The musical lot are in good form ,, are we forming a choir or are some of you about to cut a record.. New car is going like a dream and I am very pleased with it..very roomy and good on petrol, and a beautiful motor which purrs along.. Must go but look after yourselves.. Love Maryxxx

Ooo Tony, look out, someone is keeping an eye on you, lol. Wondered how you were going Wilson. How are the crop circles panning out! I know how you feel, Sandra. I'm off to Sydney again tomorrow and am frightened to log on when I get back. I'll have to see if I can use my friend's computer, otherwise I'll never know what's been happening. Gotta go, Lew Lew xxx

OMG, I've just had the weirdest coincidence! A girl in London has been in touch with me regarding her great grandfather, Arthur Watts, born to Eliza Watts (no father) in Camperdown Victoria and has sent me an image of his birth registration. We are connected through Eliza's sister Margaret. Margaret's daughter Leura married a Garfield Burtt, son of John Walter Burtt from Philadelphia. Well, on the birth certificate she has sent me for Arthur, directly below his birth, is one for Garfield's brother Frederick Burtt. I know this all sounds convoluted, but this girl is in London! Is this world getting smaller or what! Praise be to the internet, I say. Lew Lew xxx

Trifley

Trifley Report 12 May 2006 09:49

Did I hear someone mention MERLOT? I was in the kitchen (I know....strange place for me) and I heard that wonderful wine mentioned. I came scurrying in here but, alas....no glass on my desk. Did you guzzle it all yourself, Jude Yv? Do you think I might have scared away the rain with my singing? The clouds looked promising but no rain yet....bugger. Hi Wilson.....have fun on the tractor on Sunday. I'll be thinking of you. Give me land, lotsa land under starry skies above, Don't fence me in. Let me ride through the wide open country that I love, Don't fence me in. Let me be by myself in the evening breeze, And listen to the murmur of the cottonwood trees, Send me off for ever but I ask you, please, Don't fence me in. How's all our peeps with sore throats, colds and other assorted bugs? Keep drinking plenty of fluids and get lots of rest. Healing thoughts are winging their way to you. Hi Tony.....your daughter will be much happier now. Glad to hear she has settled in ok. Going to do a bit of digging, so I'll see you all later. ~~~~~~~~~waves to everyone love Trifley

For Tony's daughter A good disco song by Gloria Gaynor, performed for your pleasure tonight by Trifley At first I was afraid I was petrified Kept thinkin' I could never live without you by my side; But then I spent so many nights Thinkin' how you did me wrong And I grew strong And so you're back from outer space I just walked in to find you here with that sad look upon your face I should have changed that stupid lock I should have made you leave your key If I'd've known for just one second you'd back to bother me Go on now, go walk out the door Just turn around now ('cause) you're not welcome anymore Weren't you the one who tried to hurt me with goodbye Did I crumble Did you think I'd lay down and die? Oh no, not.I. I will survive Oh as long as I know how to love I know I'll stay alive; I've got all my life to live, I've got all my love to give and I'll survive, I will survive. Hey hey. It took all the strength I had not to fall apart Kept trying' hard to mend the pieces of my broken heart, And I spent oh so many nights Just feeling sorry for myself. I used to cry But now I hold my head up high And you see me somebody new I'm not that chained up little person still in love with you, And so you feel like droppin' in And just expect me to be free, Now I'm savin' all my lovin' for someone who's lovin' me Go on now, walk out the door I will survive!

Nothing wrong with worcestershire sauce Rudes. Speaking of which....Trifely, how did your scouse turn out when you made it? I made a pan full on Monday, and added a splash of worcestershire everytime I walked past............yummy!!! although the rest of the family said it was a bit spicy. :-((
