There is only one page on my blog so far. It takes an age to put the photos on, even when I have trimmed them down. I have lots to do today so might not get much more added. I expect it will take at least a week before the whole trip is on there.

Huia, good to see you home and hope you had a lovely holiday. I'm sure you are pleased to have Chloe home too, as she must be good company for you.



Sylvia, like you I haven't had a bath for about nine years,lol!!.....I much prefer a shower.

Hope you are getting better each day and feeling more comfortable.



Caz, how are you? I hope that you are feeling better than you've been lately.
Hope it won't be too long until you feel like making cards again.




Ann, as soon as I sort out which photos of the cards didn't get to you, I'll send them on.

Mo, how did you get on at darts last night? Hope that you and your team won.

Many years ago the doc told me that a bath was bad for the back, sitting with the legs straight out in front, so it must now be 30 or 40 years since I had a bath!

Huia that is good, I thought I wasn't doing it right. So far it is looking good.

I do like an occasional bath but then we don't have a very efficient shower, it is not a power shower.

Well at last back on the puter. I have had to wait until Debra came back from America she arrived this morning and within minutes it was sorted.... I hate not coming on here, but have been busy making cards and trying out new ideas, I wasnt able to buy anything so good does come out of bad...lol...so now I will have a look and probably manage to find something I just have to get !!! you all seem to be doing well and Sylvia the aroma coming from your place is lovely....
now I will catch up with all the mail and pm,s also look at the blogs. take care and I will be back....

Good Jean. glad you are back on. I bet it was something simple too. Still it is an ill wind I am sure you got loads of cards done.

Helloooooooo girls, tis I Mo.
Before I go any further, Sallie, we had a brilliant win on Thursday night, against the strongest team in the league.
I managed to get two finishes, and that helped us out no end.
Monday night we start our Rainham and District league. So I am still playing,knowing that I have got all my cyber friends wishing me well.

I am sorry to have deserted you all for a couple of days, but we had a small family upset to sort out first.

Today has been great, because we got to see our great grandaughter for only the third time since her birth. She is lovely, but compared to Lilly our grandaughter, she is tiny. I know that there is an age difference, but Lilly has always been a bigger baby.
We also got to see baby Lilly and her big brother and sister. They are so good with her, and love her to pieces.

Isn't it good to see our Jeanie back with us. We have missed you my lovely.
Did Debra enjoy herself in America?. If she goes again, make sure she gives your puter an over haul before she gets her flight, we can't have you missing for so long again.

We have just enjoyed a lovely chinese for dinner,and now I can't move for having such a full belly. That will teach me to be such a piggy.

I believe Marie will not be back home till later in the month. I hope the reunion goes well for her though.

Huia, have you finished downloading your photo's. I bet you took hundreds of them.

Sylv's how are you doing my love. I hope you are still healing well.

I just had a look at your blog the cards off yourself and Sallie are lovely, I have a few dozen to share ....lol... so when my tired daughter gets up I will get her to put them on for me, she was at Chicago airport at 4. am and is wacked. so went to bed.... dont know if we will see her until tomorrow, I missed all the news about your holiday , when is the next one? I dont think we will make it this year, Jeff still gets tired after a while, but he is doing more and more these days....we are just about to eat so will chat later ~~~~~~~~~ to Mo and everyone ~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You sound just like me with the puter, if something goes wrong while Alun is out I have to wait for him to get home to sort it.lol!!
It's amazing how many cards get done when there is something wrong with the computer or internet.lol!!!

Hope all went well in America for Debra. I'm sure that you and Jeff are glad to have her home.




Ann, have you put the Christmas cards on your blog yet? I'll have a look later on.
We went to the Range and Hobbycraft this afternoon, so that I could get something to make a birthday card for Chloe, who will be nine next Saturday. With all the stash I've got I didn't have anything suitable for a nine year old girl.
Mind you, we card makers don't need much of an excuse to buy more stash, do we?



I wonder where our Mo has got to. Hope all is okay with her and her family.


Sylvia, Caz, Huia, Joyce and Betty are all OK.

Hi all.

It will be a long time before I have finished putting photos on my blog, even though I am not putting them all on. I went to visit Phil yesterday and spent over an hour there while he ate his lunch, then I did some shopping.

When I got home from the airport the other day I couldnt find one of my hearing aids which I had removed and put in my pocket as the battery had gone flat, so I will have to contact the insurance people tomorrow. I might also need to contact them about my camera (not lost, but possible damage). I am going to be so busy this week.

I have only got as far as the arrival at the airport. I might not have time to do any tomorrow until the evening. I want to keep them in the correct order so have deleted the one I had of the hotel. It can be added later.

Huia, I always carry a spare hearing aid battery in my purse as they usually go at the most inconvenient times. A nuisance to lose one though.

Jean, I will put some of the holiday photos on the photo blog as soon as I can get around to it. Not got anything else in mind for holidays yet until next May.

sallie, we went to the Range on friday and I bought some christmas bits. Some of my and Jeans cards on the blog.
Poor Joyce, I do hate losing things and it sounds as if that is something quite expensive and probably of sentimental value too.

I had spare batteries with me Ann, but I was too busy to bother getting them out of my bag and putting one in. They are so fiddly to do.

You are lucky having your great -granddaughter round, and also an added bonus of having Lilly and her big brother and sister too.





Ann, it's so easy to buy more stash at the Range than what I actually go for.....it's so easy to pick something up thinking ' I don't need it now, but it might come in useful', that's the trouble. Alun also picks up stuff for his model railway layout, so between the two of us we usually spend a fair amount. Hobbycraft is also on the same retail park so what we can't get in one we mostly get in the other.

I've had a look at your cards on your blog, they are lovely.I can't seem to be able add a comment though, so goodness knows what I'm doing wrong.





Jean, hope Debra has got over her jet lag by now. Did she manage to get some sleep on the plane? I found it difficult to sleep on the way home from New York both times, even though they were night flights, leaving there at 10-30pm. The family tells me that the reason why I can't sleep is that I'm too nosey.....there might even be a lot in that too.lolol!!

I've also seen your cards on the blog, they are lovely as usual.




Sylvia hasn't been on for a few days, hope she is alright. Maybe she's busy with her family history research.

The hotel that you stayed in looks nice. I wish I could afford to go to NZ for a holiday, it looks such a beautiful country.

Joyce is upset at the moment, not only because she has lost her bracelet but because today is the first anniversay of her daughter's death.

Sallie, lucky you having hobbycraft on the same site. Although maybe it is good for my bank balance that the two in Gloucestershire are in two different towns!!!

I don't know why some people can add comments and others can't. Have you registered. I am sure that you need to register to be able to add comments.

Hia, maybe it would have been safer not to have removed the aid from your ear. Easy to be wise after the event isn't it?
