Oh Ann,I am so sorry,I forgot I do not have yours or Debbies e.mail addy.
I just hope Jean did not delete hers,as unkown junk mail,if you have Jean
I will send it again to you.
Oh my word Debbie, this swine flu is a pain in the backside. I firmly believe that there is not one family,in the u.k that has not been affected by it.
Three members off my family have had it. Roly is due to have his jab for it,
on the 26th if this month. But they have not offered it to me.
I hope the children will be o.k. It sounds like they are still having fun with their sport. Good for them, thats what I say, bless them.
I do envy you Christmas morning, with all the excitement from the children.
Children make christmas, when there are only the two of you on xmas morning,it's not the same.
I miss my lots excitement, when they go down and discover what they have got.
I will be back later girls. Love to you all. Mo xxx

Hi Everyone.....its me once in a while ! LOL

I'm still in the heat of 84 degrees ....not complaining just letting you know !

Just had a lovely walk on the beach, but now its too hot so I'm back in Condo waiting for my friend to have coffee with us .

I'm beginning to miss my lovely grandchildren, as I went and bought some clothes for them yesterday and it bought them back to me ......Awwwwhhhh.

Gosh their are too many adverts on the USA TV I can honestly say after 5mins an advert , its most distracting makes you want to turn of the blinking thing off .
But I just love( Dancing with the Stars) its the same as in UK (Strictly dancing )

More important how are you all ?

Huia I nearly died when I read about you opening the door to strangers !
Gosh it must be safer where you are....or you must be braver than me !!
Huai no update yet on Maria only that she has heard from all the siblings of her fathers second marriage.....maybe saving up to go to NZ .

Well girls is nice to pop in now and again
Take care all of you.

Marilyn x alias MAZ x,

Huia Report 17 Nov 2009 18:45

Marilyn, aka MAZ, if Maria comes to NZ I would love to be her official photographer for her reunion with her father and meeting her numerous half siblings. It has pleased me enormously to be able to help someone. I can meet her at the airport if she comes to Auckland and bring her back here for a sleep to get over any jet lag before she heads off to meet the family.

Huia.

What a lovely thought........on Maria.

Thats such a kind thing to say. when she messages me back I will let her know your suggestion , mind it could be a long way off yet .
But you never know ,somehow the air fare could be found if one is desperate.!!

Maz,have you heard my singing voice. I think I will have to call on Marie and Huia and Ann to help me out,as I would not get a penny if I am on my own.
Oh well,it looks like I will be staying here after all. Never mind wait till I win the lottery.

Morning Folks, bit confused, how long has Marilyn been Maz? seem to have missed loads of your news, Ann, have already offered some to our local brownies for the christmas fair, and I just bought on of those twisted card packs to try, I really must not go down this road again, pity because I love making them....lol....

Maz,( have to say much prefer Marilyn) you sound as though you are having a lovely time, how long are you away for? we are having terrible weather up north.. more is forecast too.... so will be thinking of you in the hot sunshine,
NOT....

hope everyone else is getting on with their Christmas shopping, I havent a clue what to buy my lot, every year gets harder....

better get on with more cleaning....ugh.... never had such a clean home ....
lol....

love Jean xx Mo, p.m. sent.

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 18 Nov 2009 09:21

Why mustn't you go down that road Jean? If you can afford it and enjoy it card making is a lovely hobby.

JustJean

JustJean Report 18 Nov 2009 13:40

Yes, Ann, I know its a lovely hobby, but I dont have a seperate room to use, and the reason I got rid of all my original craft stuff which was a great amount, becuse I had all the one wall in the bedromm fitted with shelves and drawers and worktop, until I looked one day and deciced I wanted my bedroom back...lol....also I wasnt selling them any more....I am sure I can find something else to spend my money on....lol.....I probably only send around six or seven birthday cards, we are a small family....although being on here as expanded my list. which is nice.....

Jean,Maz is an abbreviation of Marilyn's name. I sometimes use it out of laziness really.
Ann,are you watching the carpenters on ITV 1. Oh the memories, are all flooding back. I have just seen Richard, golly doesn't he look old. Mind you
thinking about it,none of us look the same as way back then.
Ronan Keating is singing now, ooooooooh bliss,I love his voice.

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 18 Nov 2009 20:39

Yes I did watch it, liked some but not all the interpretations. Richard looks old (don't we all?) but he can obviously still play the piano. Loved Ronan Keetings version also Dionne Warwick I had not realised that she sung Close to you before The carpenters. The hour flew past.

I was dissapointed by some of the stars renditions Ann. I am watching I'm a celebrity, and Katie Price is having to do another challenge, now I wonder why. She is not a very popular person is she. How can she go and leave her young son Harvey, who has not long since been in hospital.
I know that Peter Andre is looking after their two children, and presumably
Harvey is being looked after by a nanny.

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 18 Nov 2009 22:12

Mo I think the problem is that nobody can ever sing like Karen Carpenter so it always feels like second best when actually if we had not heard the original and had pre-conceived ideas of how the songs should be sung, we would think they were quite good.

I don't watch I'm a celebrity I'm afraid, not my scene at all.

JustJean

JustJean Report 19 Nov 2009 05:41

J and I have always been avid fans of the Carpenters, so we started to watch last night, but was so upset at the singers some completely ruined the songs so we switched off, and put their cd on.....wonderful.....
